Marcella Fruehan Joins Monster March

“Truth Is” Singer/Songwriter Marcella Fruehan is now Monster March’s “Lead Teen” over Texas!

“If you haven’t watched her insightful and compassionate anti bullying song, “TRUTH IS,” you’ll want to hear 16-year old Marcella’s moving message. We’re thrilled to announce Marcella has just signed on as “Lead Monster March Teen” of her homestate, Texas.

This week, she performed her upcoming hit, ” Your Perfect” (intentionally misspelled), at an anti bullying event in Dallas. “Your Perfect” sends the message…”You’re beautiful just the way you are.”

Freedom To Smile Performance

Marcella performed at the Dallas Public Library for a program called Freedom to Smile put on by the Teen division of CONTACT, whose mission is to offer teens a free 24-hour telephone help line, staffed by trained volunteers who can respond to the concerns of teens in the midst of a crisis or conflict in a confidential, nonjudgmental manner.

She played her music video for her anti-bullying song ‘Truth Is’ and did an acoustic debut of two new songs that will be released on a six song record in June.  Her performance was from the heart and was well received by all!  She will be joining Contact again in July for another performance so stay tuned for dates Continue reading

Local Teen Vies For Music Career

Fifteen-year-old Marcella Fruehan has a real passion for music. Having started vocal lessons at age 8, she has recently set her musical career into motion with a series of recording sessions and Web-released singles.

The high school freshman, who lives with her parents in Allen, recently transferred from Allen High School to Spring Creek Academy in Plano, a private school whose half-length school days allow her more time to practice singing and guitar, an instrument she took up two months ago.

“I’m a singer-songwriter, but I see myself as the R&B, soulful type,” she said. “I’m trying to kind of create my own genre, because I don’t know what I am. It’s kind of a mix of things.”
